Signals parameters
Press right mouse button on cell with signal and select 'signal parameters' to set signal parameters
Name: Signal name on panel
Key: Key to change signal from keyboard
Signal type:
- one arm semaphore
- two arms semaphore
- two coupled arms semaphore
- light signal: red and green
- light signal: red, green and orange
Type of DCC Items:
- switch decoder - signal is connected to 'switch decoder'. 'Switch decoder' is deferent from 'accessory decoder' on way of port numbering. 'Switch decoder' have one number per switch; 'accessory decoder' have two numbers per switch.
- accessory decoder - signal is connected to two or more ports of accessory decoder (may be not subsequent). For each connection you must enter decoder address and port number.
- accessory decoder with integrated feedback module - signal is connected to accessory decoder which send feedback information on the same address. Program waits on feedback signal to finish switching.
- accessory decoder and separated feedback decoder - as formerly but you must enter feedback module address, because is not integrated with accessory decoder
Remarks: To change type of DCC items you must first unbind all DCC items from all 'binding points'.
Switching time (-1 -> don't switch power off; 0 -> default) (msek) - time after which signal should finish switching.
- for DCC items without feedback - after this time program switch off power on decoder port and finish switching.
- for DCC items with feedback - should be -1, because program should wait for feedback signal. If there is number >=0, program assumes that signal change position without feedback signal
- value 0 means that parameter is taken from DCC System parameters
Max feedback response time before error (0 -> defualt) - maximum time for feedback response time after which program assume error
- value can be type in if previous parameter is -1 and 'type of DCC items' is with feedback
- if signal doesn't change state (by sending feedback signal) during this time program stops switching and signals error. Program assume than switch isn't change state.
- value 0 means that parameter is taken from DCC System parameters
Binding to DCC Items
After select signal type and DCC items type you should select a 'bind point' on left list and press 'Bind/Unbind' to bind it with new/exist DCC item. After it you should define DCC Item parameters on box on right of window.
Depending on signal type and DCC items type 'bind point' list is different:
One arm or two coupled arms semaphore
DCC Items type | Bind point | What can be bind |
switch decoder | upper arm | pair of switch decoder |
accessory decoder, accessory decoder with feedback | upper arm - up, upper arm - down | single output of accessory decoder |
accessory decoder with separated feedback decoder | upper arm - up, upper arm - down | single output of accessory decoder |
accessory decoder with separated feedback decoder | upper arm - up - FB, upper arm - down - FB | feedback module |
Two arms semaphore
DCC Items type | Bind point | What can be bind |
switch decoder | upper arm, lower arm | pair of switch decoder |
accessory decoder, accessory decoder with feedback | upper arm - up, upper arm - down, lower arm - up, lower arm - down | single output of accessory decoder |
accessory decoder with separated feedback decoder | upper arm - up, upper arm - down, lower arm - up, lower arm - down | single output of accessory decoder |
accessory decoder with separated feedback decoder | upper arm - up - FB, upper arm - down - FB, lower arm - up - FB, lower arm - down - FB | feedback module |
