Transfer table can be horizontal or vertical:
To add turntable or transfer table we add new icons on toolbar:
On parameter form you can setup a lot of properties:
- name of turntable
- type: turntable or transfer table
- number of all (present and not-present) tracks (there is no upper limit, but always number of tracks must be even)
- size of turntable on sheet (in meaning of cells). Minimal size is 3x3, but maximal is not limited
- and the type of communication to "real" turntable. Now we support two types of communication to turntables: turntable is control by train decoder, or is control by accessory decoders.
On next tab you can setup tracks of turntable:
Every track can be hide. Not hidden track can be connected with exit on border.
Using "Auto-rebind' button you can order program to make binding to border exits automaticaly and than change it.
Depending of selected type of communication you must setup more properties.
If you used train decoder you will see following tab:
- You must first define new engine on menu: Engine -> List of Engines. Then you must select this engine in turntable property.
- Next you must setup time between every step (time to move between one to next track).
- If your turntable required additiona time between steps (except last one), you can put it on next property 'Between steps time'. Example: if you move from track 1 to track 3 (2 steps), program will count twice 'step time' and ones 'between steps time'.
- If you want to stop track on every track select 'Stop between steps'. This also helps to see how everything works.
Other way to control turntable is to used accessory decoders.
Program enable to connect following thing to accessory decoder ports:
- "Motor" - switch on accessory decoder port on start of moving turntable for every direction. And switch off it on end.
- "Backward motor" - switch on accessory decoder port only for moving backward direction. And switch off it on end.
- "Forward motor" - switch on accessory decoder port only for moving fordward direction. And switch off it on end.
Last two position can be used not only to start engine but only to change direction.
To move/rotate turntable you can move mouse over turntable and press arrows:
